These trees are shipped in 4" x 6" containers and will require transplanting in a month or so. Etrog trees would not win any prizes for gracefulness. Its main claim to fame is as an ingredient in the Jewish Sukkot ceremony, but the Arabic world also has a long history of looking favorably on this citrus tree, which they call itranj. Or you could start your own tradition and candy the peel of this citron variety for the inevitable American fruitcake. |
